Selection of cutting blade of common cutting machine

Ordinary cutting machines usually cut workpieces with a diameter of less than 50mm. However, due to the small cutting power, in order to reduce the radial friction resistance, we usually choose a 3.2mm thick cutting blade. Selection of cutting blade of high-power cutting machine
The high-power cutting machine usually uses occasions where the cutting table power is greater than 5.5 KW, the rotating speed is up to 2800 rpm, and the diameter of the workpiece is large. Because the cutting torque is large and the damage to the cutting piece is large, the cutting piece is required to be rigid. We usually choose the cutting piece with a thickness of 3.8 mm. At the same time, because the cutting diameter is large, the resistance of the cutting piece will also increase, and the temperature of the cutting surface will be very high, so it is very important to reduce the cutting temperature. If conditions permit, water shall be added for cooling during cutting. The experiment shows that if water cooling is added during cutting, the durability of cutting blade can be increased by 1.5-2 times.
